We are Christine and Ina, mom friends and former colleagues. Two elementary teachers passionate about the importance of being intentional with building a solid literacy foundation in order to create successful readers and writers. 

 

Literacy skill development begins well before children start going to school. At LIT Box Co. our goal is to set your child up with the essential literacy tools they need to feel pride and success in their performance at school. Making learning fun and engaging is our standard! 

 

As teachers, we have seen children struggling to learn when they don’t have the energy as a result of hunger. Our core value and belief is ensuring every child’s basic needs are met. We are partnering up with Canadian food charities to put an end to children going hungry at school. Feeding littles is close to our hearts because hungry bellies can't focus on learning. Each LIT Box sold will see a portion of the proceeds going towards providing meals for kids in need.
